If you’re going to jump straight into argumentum ad hominem, you should at least try to come up with an insult that’s original. Triggered is the word 12 year olds resort to on Counter Strike. Overall, this is just a piss poor attempt at what otherwise can be an entertaining logical fallacy. Sad.

Exactly. Look at Louis C.K. He provides many offensive jokes but they survive because a) they’re funny and b) they’re almost always insightful into some aspect of the human condition. e.g. his joke about how maybe soldiers going into another country and shooting people shouldn’t be that surprised when they got shot

Ugh, I had some of the same thoughts. CJ’s just been so good, and Lillard hasn’t been consistent at all this season. Granted he’s had injuries. But even when he’s been healthy he hasn’t shown that killer instinct and clutch ability we’ve seen in the past. Ugh.

Fuck, I hated everything about this Super Bowl until I saw this. This makes it all worth it. Thank you.

Read up, my friend. Their total costs per ride are simply higher than the fares they are charging. In fact, they only charge the customer 41% of their total costs per ride (remember, total costs per ride include more than just driver payments, and thus, huge losses).

That’s the problem, their costs per ride, including payments to drivers, are actually more than the revenue for each ride. They’re subsidizing the cost of rides, mostly with VC money, to expand business.

Not sure who you associate with college football or why you’d feel some instinct that they should be non-white, because most of the analysts/commentators I can think of are as white as Finebaum. Kirk Herbstreit, Brent Musberger, Rece Davis, Chris Fowler, Jesse Palmer, Lee Corso, Joe Tessitore, Doug Flutie, Todd

The future called and they want to let you know that you’re being sued by Apple for copyright infringement.

Los Angeles was the exception to that, and could be again if they get the bid in 2024. They used pretty much all pre-existing venues and the IOC had no problem with it. They also ended up making a tidy profit off of hosting the olympics because of the lack of new facilities.

Let Greece have it. They could sure as hell use the stimulus at this point, and, hell, they invented the thing to begin with.

The American Dream.

From my experience in the church it tends to breed more assholes than it fixes.

The thing that bothers me most about this image is that the foam hand is on backwards.

Taking out the opponent’s hydration abilities seems like a solid strategy. Goodell is already working on a way to ban it in the NFL

Parking on the opposite side of the road requires crossing oncoming traffic and driving the wrong way for a short distance both when parking and leaving, which can be a big deal on busy streets, or relatively risk-free depending on where you are. But most cities ban wrong-way parking because of this and will give you

The thinner-than-a-Prius tires in the gif were what gave it away for me.

Everything is better when Brule’d.
