It’s one of those terms that does absolutely nothing to change the material reality of the person being described, but makes the person using it feel better.

As a former homeless person kicked out of my house for being gay at 17, I hope you feel better about your white straight privilege with “unhoused”, a term that sanitizes reality for your sheltered comfort, one thay sweeps the issue under the rug...in your home, not house.
And yet the bell end in charge of this project was the thick one.
I find it all fascinating. I hadn’t seen this video yet and its very interesting.
I enjoy Diablo but you don’t really “create” characters. Diablo characters are like hot dogs: a delivery system for condiments. But the same ground up lips and assholes. My male barbarian is gonna look exactly the same as yours but with maybe different clothes and weapons.
as an ff14 player i dont think i’ll ever touch diablo4 although it looks cool af.
At the very least there’s a very real lack of self-awareness in being able to type what they did and then tell someone else to “grow up”. Like, hoooo boy, real loudest-person-in-the-room energy going on.
Totally on board with this thought. The lead up to the game feels like I’m re-experiencing Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story all over again.
Yeah, I like a lot of the people involved, and it definitely seems more in keeping with the tone of Vagrant Story and XII. FF Tactics was absolutely dark as fuck, and still maybe my favorite in the entire series even if it’s not a numbered sequel. I’m much more excited about this one than yet another future-tech entry…
Here’s the thing... from the previews, this seems like an Ivalice game in the vein of Vagrant Story. With the arguable exception of FFVII: Remake, I haven’t really enjoyed a new final fantasy since XII, which was 17 years ago. So I’m kind of willing to let the franchise change drastically if there’s hope to create…
Doesn’t that definition eliminate an awful lot of JRPGs in particular?
I bounced off of FFTA, and I don’t think it was just because of the kiddy aesthetic. It’s also just mechanically different in a lot of ways that some folks don’t enjoy. Also after going back to it a few weeks ago, I’m not a fan of the interface.
I'm a grill cook at McDonald's. If it takes 13 seconds to cook 10/1 patties, you're serving raw product.
so why would it be better if everyone quit? They’d hire scabs at less than half the wages and continue on.
you can fuck off. you were probably a shitty manager too.
I can tell you are a peach to serve in any retail environment.
So what happens when everyone leaves food service jobs?
$16 an hour is underpaid for *any* job when you live in the wealthiest country in the world.
I hope you lose your job tomorrow.
Every fucking time this sort of think comes up, there’s a fucking “that guy” polishing his fucking monocle.
