Cordless drill is much easier than the reamer.
I have been through many of these kits as I work on construction sites and pick up nails and bolts frequently, I splurged on my last kit and bought a set with proper knurled aluminum handles rather than the plastic. One thing I have noticed is that the extra plugs (the others you haven’t used yet) will age and become…
I had a tire professionally patched. It promptly (2 days later) began leaking from the exact spot that was patched. I whipped out my trusty tire plug kit, plugged it, and 37k miles later the tire still held air. All hail the mighty tire plug.
I have used these kits multiple times on cars and motorcycles. 80-90% of the time I find them to work well and hold up for quite a while. Though replacing the tire is the right thing to do, if you are cheap like me (sometimes) You can still get some good life out of the tire but I would recommend keeping an eye on the…

When I did this awhile back, the part sticking out, I just light them up and let burn for a perfect flush finish (it melts).
Cut off the leftover and melt the end is what I do. Dunno if melting is any better than non-melting, but never had an issue.
Hold the horses...you actually got rid of parts!? I thought parts in David Tracy's possession just got eternally re-used and repurposed until they rusted into oblivion.
I used this exact kit on my 2013 Accord 2-months ago and my first time fixing a flat this way. 5,000mi later its still good. I did not take it to the tire shop because I did not want to spend $20 on a summer only tire that is at 2.5/32nds and will get replaced in the spring when I take my snow tires off. Plus get the…
She’s got a nice giggle and she can clearly be talked into questionable acts.
