I did actually stare back and make a rude gesture. But the whole incident felt so demeaning overall, that being rude back didn’t make me feel any better.

It wasn’t just the one guy, but one example, and if you are on this site, you should be aware of the way white men choose to misbehave and how society lets them get away with it.
