It is available on Crunchyroll, which is where I first watched the anime. The manga is also available via a number of manga-readers. However, there was never a formal release of the manga in book form (that I am aware of) nor was there a US DVD/Blu ray edition. I ending up buying a copy of the DVD's off of ebay (I

I'm so glad to see someone bringing up Azumanga Daioh. I love that show! I can easily watch it for hours, and it consistently makes me laugh out loud despite the fact that I've seen it many times.

Been watching a fair amount of Polar Bear Cafe. I would love to own it on Blu ray, but it has not been released in the US and Japanese Blu rays are really expensive (which sucks).

Spouse was out of town this weekend, so had a mini movie marathon. In addition to watching In Bruges and The Drop, also saw Bullhead and The Hunt for the first time, both of which were amazing. Needless to say, it was a bit of an emotionally draining weekend.

Tough question.

From the New York Times:

Went to St Louis over the weekend and got to experience the City Museum for the first time. It was AWESOME! For those not familiar with it, it is sort of a huge art sculpture / playground for both kids and adults with a 10 story slide. It shocks me that something like this can exist in our litiginous society (and

The book is one of my favorites. If you get a chance to read it, I would highly recommend it. The emotional journey of Bastian in the second half of the book is really moving, and always makes me cry.

While I am not a big fan of Popeyes' fried chicken, I do enjoy their fried chicken gizzards, which KFC does not offer.

Thanks for posting the list! I also recently moved to KC and have been trying to find good restaurants.

Yeah. I recently bought the video off of iTunes not realizing (like an idiot) that the director's cut was the unedited version, and the Romanek video collection on DVD lacks it as well. Luckily, I have a copy of the MTV video somewhere on VHS because my spouse recorded it when it was airing on tv.

If I remember correctly, there were two versions of the Closer video: the one Romanek originally shot and then the edited one for MTV with the [scene missing] slides. I often don't say this, but I actually enjoy the edited one better and find the [scene missing] slides more creepy and disturbing than the original

I wonder if this will translate into more dinobot action (possibly even dinobot on dinobot action) in the next Transformers movie.

I thought the internet was to look at pictures/videos of cats and pick fights with perfect strangers. And, yeah, porn.

Saw Mad Max for the second time (third time for the spouse). Also saw Tomorrowland, which will not get any repeat viewings.
