OK, Over-50 Betsy đź‘Ť

I did a homestay in this town during a study abroad semester 10 years ago. Never thought I’d see a photo of it here. Cool!

Damn it. Just...fuck, man.

Really hoping this situation isn’t as grim as it seems...

Tokyo resident here, can cosign this. Also the mascots are superb.

Understarred post

I expect no sympathy from the general population, but as a Yankees fan, this one hurt.

Good one, dude. Don’t worry, in no way do you sound like an insecure dweeb.

No Deadspin reader knows or cares who these people are. You’re trying too hard.

You’re reading way too much into this. And way too emotionally invested. Video games aren’t sports. We’re tired of seeing non sequitur content on our sports blog. That’s all.

Please, pretty please with a cherry on top, stop posting this stuff on Deadspin.

Yes, for the love of god, stop cross-posting this stuff on Deadspin. Video games are a total non sequitur to sports. Seriously, I can’t be the only one who cringes just reading the word “esports,” right?

Really interested to see what they’ll have to show us at E3.

It wasn’t right when Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, or countless former members of congress did it either. Why are you acting like anyone in this thread is giving Mnuchin or any of Trump’s other goons a pass, just because...another bad trend also happens to exist?

Why do you consider that critique an immature position? And “purist” as opposed to what? I don’t understand.

I don’t know why people are attacking you for this. You can hate and criticize Orange Mussolini for the myriad of unforgivable shit he’s doing...and at the same time criticize the unseemliness of a former president getting hefty checks from the institutions he was supposedly dedicated to reigning in. It’s emblematic…

That’s a wildly inaccurate statement. I’ve lived in Japan for five years, and I probably don’t know anyone who would say a 15 year old is an adult. The fact that compulsory education ends after middle school doesn’t change that. People celebrate “coming of age day” when they turn 20 years old, and that’s when people…
