It’s his volatility that drives me nuts. He’ll make these kinds of “championship” plays all night, then get the dumbest T in the history of the sport. And one day he’s pissing on his teammates, and the next day he’s their Lord and Savior. The guy’s a fucking conundrum. And I can’t look away!

I don’t know, man. Assume the organization is acting in good faith: wanting to win this championship and knowing it needs KD out there to do it. In that case, it needs KD to both stay healthy and play well. Wouldn’t it want as much information as possible on the likelihood of both those things? And wouldn’t KD?
