The subjectivity of officiating is what poisons basketball (and soccer) for me. It’s so infuriating. And I don’t even have an NBA team anymore! (RIP Supes...) Every time I try to watch the NBA, I’m so confounded by the inconsistency of calls that I just give up. I honestly don’t know the outer limits of the various…
Rick Reilly!? I’m out.
No question this is a Lindbergh alum on her way to the methadone clinic, then Boeing.
I’m not suggesting it will be easy. I just like the draw. Go Zags.
I love the Zags’ draw, even if the 4 is low. Rematch of last year’s title game (which I attended with Zag nation) should be a huge E8 storyline.
Am I the only one that has no doubts Serena wins a major this year?
Or it’s a fluke. We shall see!
How is this dude the ONLY motherfucker in the entire NCAA getting popped for this shit?
The NBA: where dignity happens.
He’s a fucking piece of shit. But he’s only one of the many fucking pieces of shit responsible. Including myself. Gun control will be my number one issue at the ballot box this year, and the years after until this is fixed.
No shit. I mean, why not object to the improper use of a capital letter while you’re at it, dumbfuck?
+1”
I think dropping it “the minute” you get bored / turned off / tuned out / whateveryouwannacallit is a little extreme. I have a 1/3 rule. If I get 1/3 of the way into a book and the author hasn’t convinced me to keep reading, it’s officially the author’s fault, my OCD is exonerated, and I casually put the book aside…
The first time I read it, I plowed through it in about 4 days. I went back several years later because I had been thinking about it a lot. HOOOOOOOO doggy was that a slog. But, like you, I just picked at it a bunch and, with occasional binges when the story gets really good, got through it. I think it was even more…
Criminally underrated
Your argument assumes, without justification, that the other team wasn’t complicit in the act. It would not be possible to “diminish their hard work” if they themselves chose to participate. Since you don’t know whether that is, or is not true, your take is not so much “unpopular” as it is uninformed.
Aren’t all presidents of their local Young Republicans chapter?
Unless you were a Mariners fan. :(
Dude, you’re arguing with someone who thinks “Larry Walker is clearly a HOFer.” Just FYI...
