I’m saying the U.S. Men’s team has a long way to go before they’re of comparable quality to the U.S. Women’s team.

D.C. Passed it. Then Congress overrode it, because D.C. doesn’t actually have the right to pass it’s own laws without the federal legislature having veto power.

Add to the savings from not having to arrest people for possession and such and I wonder what the net gain is.

They always have been. It’s the men’s team that’s never quite gotten there. But yeah, it’s been a long 16 years for the USWNT.

Now if only the men’s team could take a leaf from their book and just go nuts at the opposition at the start of the game. They might go far.

It’s been a long time since I felt like I was watching the USWNT just go nuts against opposition. This is awesome.

I have a feeling FIFA orchestrated the seeding in order to have a US-Japan rematch in the final as the most likely outcome. The US gets an easy path until the semifinals, Germany/France get to knock each other around in the quarters to then face the US tired in the semis, and Japan gets an easy path to the final.

One major game changer they figured out was Alex Morgan learning to flop. That sure helped them get that first goal.

I mean, I enjoyed both shows for what they were, but yeah, they’re just full of terrible.
