Can I admit though that I’m a little “hrmmm” about the love story framing and exceptionally beautiful actor? Science can be sexy even if ur not sexy imo.

Premiered without distribution. Was funded in part after the fact by Oprah and Tyler Perry.

I’m just annoyed by the pretty depressed girl trope. They wouldn’t bother (re)telling her story if she was overweight and not white.

She was 12 last time I had a thought about her. But I’m sure her child star life experience will greatly inform her portrayal of a suicidal poet. I’ll hate watch it high prob.

Sounds like you consider your interpretation of imagery to be absolute fact??

Waiii wha?? ....someone is remaking the Bell Jar starring Dakota Fanning? That’s fucking hilarious and I’m old.

Let’s take it down a notch. I have mental health issues. Women in my near and far peripheries have mental health issues. So do men. So would I, if male. I FUCKING UNDERSTAND HISTORY, and guess the fuck what — my conclusion is different from yours, and I own all of Andrea Dworkin, and Catherine Mackinnon and crazy ass

Why would they give away their techniques on the cover? I don’t completely disagree but this is up for interpretation and interpretation betrays beliefs. Also, having endured BPD, narcissist and psychopathic peeps in my glamorous life, I greatly identify with the figure on the cover, as a victim of toxic people. Toxic

That she’s been silenced by a toxic person? No, that’s not the immediate assumption you made. Lol

I just reread this and feel the need to tell you how hard I laughed at your writing. I mean, please, stop making the cause so embarrassingly cringe-worthy. This is counterproductive whiny bullshit and if I can find something better to do I’ll quit my illustrious comment career here. You’ll laugh at yourself when

Get a job dipshit.

YOU are the one assuming the pictured woman is the toxic instigator. Maybe she’s the victim. Go fuck yourself for that college class comment, btw.

Oy vey. Sorry, I can’t get it up for this one.

I think you have a wonderfully idealistic POV, but intrinsic rewards don’t pay the bills. Acting ethically generally does not advance a career, a business, or a government, and if you choose to stick to your values, everyone else will fly past you as you’re standing still. I’m not saying it’s right — that’s how it is,

I totally relate. It’s as though a massive chunk of your brain and consciousness becomes dedicated to ruminating on all of the ways they are horrible and how much you hate them and how you want to get back at them. It’s an awful state of mind, but it’s so hard to break the pattern without just getting TFO. Good luck

It’s hilarious once you figure it all out and are no longer under their thumb! Until then it’s a damn nightmare. In my case (actually now I realise she’s the second narcissist I’ve worked for but the first is long gone from my life), she was one manager removed from me, and my direct manager was cool, but a passive

I certainly hope so. It’s feeling more and more like there are zero rewards for behaving ethically.

Oh god, I’m sorry. I wish I couldn’t relate. I often wonder why their praise feels so good, aside from whatever insecurities the receiver harbours. I wonder if it’s because the praise is actually directed toward themselves, because they see everything as a reflection of them. And they fucking adore themselves. Also

Yeah still below the constitution and bill of rights tho. Priorities.

I would sooner trust my chihuahua’s math.
