The actors and actresses in the documentary were calling themselves that, so if someone gets offended in 2017, should we bleep the words?

I saw an interview with some of the midgets that played the Munchkins and the main thing they remarked about is how amazed they were so many other little people like themselves existed. So they were hooking up left and right. Many of them found future husbands and wives because of the film.

One of my “learnings” as an Anglo working in a Latino nonprofit was how anti-black many of my co-workers were, from dissing each other for being too dark to wondering aloud about how American blacks could be so poor even though they’d been in the US for so long (verdict: laziness). The other Anglo guy in the office…

I mean, because us black people are pretty familiar with this Latino stereotype. Not that funny, but, like, I’m not really that offended. Setting this up as him “telling a racist joke” seems to take this out of context.

Be fair. After all those years of marriage, he suddenly realized something was missing from her.

Anti black Latinos always confound me. Like you realize they half your team right? Like Afro Latinos are a significant portion of the Global population. But, ok girl. This is why I also enjoy a good laugh when white Latinos tell people they don’t have race/color issues. 

Yeah, let’s not forget the whole kidney thing.
