I disagree with the conclusion that this is a good game, if for no other reason than the dialogue between the sisters.

every single pokemon has to be remade

They aren’t remaking the models, they made models with Creatures inc back in 2013 that will scale for many generations, they are still using them.

I think people understate the anger of the fanbase. This National Dex thing (which was a problem since Sun and Moon though those games allowed you to keep every old pokemon, even if they don’t have a dex entry), is just the straw that camel back. There has been many details over all games that have accumulated and

“This is something to remember. The people at Gamefreak who are working on this game are spending months and years of their lives developing this new Pokemon adventure.”

> But don’t attack, harass or insult the people making this game.

So basically “We hear you, we’re sorry but we’re not changing our minds.”

*SPOILERS*

I remember your glowing review of Hereditary Dowd...fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... ... ... you’re not gonna fool me again!

Thank you, I thought I was the only one. The ending was insufferable, and the whole second half of the movie either felt rushed or made no sense.

I saw Hereditary at the theater, and was literally waiting for it to end. Plus, the ending had no real worthwhile pay-off, in fact, the ending was the worst part of the whole movie. That, and the fact, that you kill off the most interesting character part way through the film (the character being that of the weird

Oh fuck on off. Posting a set of legitimate grievances is not a rant. And someone being angry does not invalidate their opinion.

They didn’t have to add more pokemon. Alolan variants of old pokemon was a popular design choice. They could have done that and recycled animations. I think people would have been understanding of having just new starters and legendaries and a bunch of new regional variants.

“For Pokémon producer Junichi Masuda and Pokémon Sword and Shield director Shigeru Ohmori, the spirit of Pokémon is all about metamorphosis.”

No offense, but the whole “it’s about growing” point is undercut by Game Freak’s lack of real growth. The series’s stories aren’t very good and haven’t gotten that much better. The mechanics didn’t really improve much beyond “Hey what if we did two on two” with everything else being gimmicks that make stuff a bit more

Lots of people are complaining about FFVII’s multi game format. I think the difference is a lot more don’t realize it because they always gloss over it while “Gotta catch em all” being Pokemon’s tagline means it’s more in peoples faces.

TBF you haven’t been able to “catch” em all even if you owned both copies of a

“...do I need to hear three of the least attractive and most annoying men on Earth...

Seriously? Hosting a press conference to declare you’re innocent, after you were giving a once in a life time deal, that in NO WAY exonerated you? You don’t think that disqualifies  someone from trying to claim “privacy”?  Sorry. No. If he just disappeared, fine. But he went on national tv to rub it in their faces.

The ending did what few shows have done for me. It succeeded in retroactively ruining much of what came before it and I will likely never pick up the remaining books, assuming they are ever finished.
