Marvel’s obsession with committing genocide over and over again is more than a bit unsettling at this point. With how often its come up its seeming like the message that Marvel is trying to send is less ‘genocide bad’ more ‘minorities aren’t allowed nice things and if you start to get happy we’ll kill you all off’.

Chris Rock once said that you’ll know there’s really been a change when black people are allowed to be successful while still being mediocre like so many white people. Well, Chris, I give you the career of Tim Story!

The CW is dead to me.

As a MASSIVE fan of Spider-Man who has given past story arcs, runs, characters etc. far more grace and appreciation than some of them deserved, Wells’ run is one of the worst I’ve ever read. Nick Spencer spent his entire run gradually undoing both One More Day and Sins Past only for Wells to IMMEDIATELY unravel that

This is a reviled run of Spider-Man, and it’s legitimate baffling that they’ve given the “Women in Refrigerators” treatment to Kamala in the year 2023.

At least Superman died in his own comic, and not less than a decade after he was created.

I haven’t been following the current run (I was a Slott reader and stopped reading monthly after Superior, although I caught up later), aside from the ire of fans and the admittedly funny anger at Paul.

I’m just gonna say that I’ve started playing this game and...I think you need to understand eurojank simulator games—admittedly a very weird and niche place—to know where this is coming from.

Why not a police sim? It’s a game and games should allow one to take up the mantle of someone else and walk in their shoes, be it a person of another gender, profession, country or a dragon, a spirit or a cloud.

Take a deep breath. Some people don't like this game. You can still have fun with it, it's all right

This game isn’t what lives rent free in his head. The quality of previous Saints Row games (Especially 1 and 2) that he adored, is what lives in his head. I’m sure he, like I, was hoping for a return to form. Back to a day when the game wasn’t JUST a huge joke, but had actual narrative and depth, tragic moments,

Ah yes, the good ol’ “I don’t have anything constructive to say to legitimate criticism, so I’ll go with a argumentum ad personam” type of comment.

I never liked Saints Row much because I found the main characters pretty unlikable and almost irredeemable. But even I, who didn’t like the characters, have to admit I found the new Saints Row characters supremely unlikable and unrelatable. First of all, two of them are already working for gangs and have no problem

Well, no. Seeing how in the game there seem to be hundreds of zombies per living human I’d say people got vaccinated in a somewhat realistic proportion.

I really don’t like this XIII-apologist era we’re in now where people feel comfortable saying they like XIII. This is what happens when people that need to get bullied simply aren’t. XIII is trash, and XIII-2 is just a disjointed, weird, but kind of fun experiment with flavorless anime trash sprinkled on top

FF XIII is the game that killed the Final Fantasy series for me.

The love Final Fantasy XIII-2 deserves:

Leaving off the DCAU films is an incredible disservice. Mask of the Phantasm is, without a doubt, better than all of these films, and arguably the greatest Batman movie of all time. It is a true masterpiece, introducing a classic character, and bringing in elements of classic stories but varying them in amazing ways.

So you’re saying that the production team behind the promised second season to Promised Neverland that sounded promising was not as promising as originally hoped?

Thousand Year Door is literally my favorite video game and it breaks my heart.
