As someone that has lived and worked in a red district in Arizona for 9 years, it's strange. I have yet to encounter a single person that is willing to say he or she supports this law. Heck, even three of the state senators that voted for this are now asking Brewer to veto it.

Actually, white people alternative medicines are acceptable if the the treatments are either sufficiently old, can be called (even erroneously) "traditional," or you don't know where they came from and can pretend they came from somewhere exotic. Otherwise homeopathy would be disqualified.

That's great and all, but as someone who is gay and lives in AZ...no thanks. I don't really want to play sacrificial lamb just so Jan Brewer looks like a bigoted idiot (spoiler alert: everyone already knows that).

Obviously the only reason kids ever sick is because horrible evil mothers who don't really care about their snowflakes let the doctors cut the umbilical cord. You're supposed to let it rot off naturally!

I have bad news - even brown people from foreign countries have started putting chemicals into their medicines. To be on the safe side, I'd recommend avoiding any medical treatment invented within the last 500 years.

Love your comment, as this is the thinking of so many people in the Northern California area where this is happening!

I think this is the fault of Big Pharma, pumping toxins into our children's bloodstreams. Clearly these kids need to eat more organic food. Also, they need to get some healing crystals. Healing crystals fix everything.

Translation: I thought supporting this stupid shit would have no consequences. It has generated consequences that terrify me and decrease my power, influence, and credibility. Therefore, I regret supporting it.

The Smug Storm is real!

With compliments like that, who needs insults? "I thought she was just a dumb hick, but to my surprise she can READ!"

PLEASE star me and make this visible to all. My friends are walking 102 miles this July in Arizona to fight for equality. YOU READ THAT RIGHT: 102 miles. In AZ. By foot. IN JULY. DONATE PLEASE. http://www.equalitywalk.org/2014-walk.html

People see a bunch of red and don't bother to examine the actual numbers. I like to use Texas as an example in the last election, if you say it's full of Republicans you're writing off the 3.3 millionish people that voted for Obama. And that's just people who bother to vote. Meanwhile you get the same sort of thing in

Anti-vaxxers. Where the loony left and crazy right come together in a sea of conspiracy theories and disregard for science.

Oh please, you bratty big city New York people always do this. Why don't you come to a rural small town in the Midwest and see what we deal with every single year? This isn't even a big deal.

I do not find Mia Farrow's graphic illustration of the destruction of their family due to Woody Allen cheating on her with her teenage daughter to be as shocking as the actual destruction of their family due to Woody Allen cheating on her with her teenage daughter.

I'm with you. I just joined as well. I get so excited when I see someone mention the Format. Just when I think I'm alone in my fandom... I'm not.

Whenever I see Nate Ruess, I just miss The Format. So much better than fun.

He looks like Tegan and Sara's other sister

Chris deserved to get the book thrown at him. Bieber is an asshole, but he still has yet to beat down his girlfriend.

I'm confused. Isn't "hanging out, enjoying each others company, and letting whatever happens, happen" what dating is? Have I been dating wrong this whole time?!
