Real talk, I find Smokey Robinson to be incredibly attractive in a very unique way. He’s pretty nipped/tucked now, but I will never forget buying my first record of his, seeing him on the cover, and just being totally mesmerized by that face (the voice, obviously, is similarly divine).

I have never been tested, but numerous people have told me I seem to be on the spectrum. Yet I still found I preferred female company.

Yes, I was a female nerd. I was into “male” nerd activities. Yet most of my friends were female.

Listen, I grew up a tomboy and was really into sports and wearing baggy clothes and I was super scrappy, but I always had a girl best friend. Girls are fucking awesome! I will always side eye a woman who says she doesn’t really have female friends because they’re “all drama.”

These people have no sense of how reality works. It’s all just random factoids thrown into a word salad.

Are these the same women that pretend to be edgy by saying they hate women and that all their friends are guys? And all the guys think, she’s not like other bitches, because she is totally cool with their shitty behavior. But really she isn’t, and a part of her dies every time she puts up with it, or gives in, or

Can we purchase these online or do we need to Shop Around?

I am here for him making a skincare line specifically for melanated people.

Belle literally usurped Pride and Prejudice as my favorite period piece just simply based on the fact that the lead looked like me. I’ve never seen a movie set in that time with a black lead.

this movie is incredibly beautiful: cinematography, costumes, sets, production design/quality/everything. it’s a movie to watch over and over again because there’s a lot of small details that goes by so quickly or you may not have remembered from the first perspective. i loved it because they added a little humor!

Didn’t the Pokémon-Amie screen give us an idea what it is like inside before you decorated it?

omg. her drunk brain thought “conservation group” = “conservative group”

We have these in San Francisco too— the buses & half the shops in chinatown are full of signs saying to watch out for blessing scams. I don’t know if they’ve nabbed anybody yet, but it seems like something that’d continue unabated as long as there are large enclaves of trusting + superstitious senior citizens.

This has nothing to do with anything, but I had to put my kitty down today (17 years old, had her since I was 16) and am fucking miserable. I keep thinking I see her out of the corner of my eye. Why can’t pets live as long as we do.

Or they just don’t buy those products in the first place. If someone anticipates a product getting lost due to their kids, it’s entirely reasonable not to buy it in the first place.

Though America pretty much created Halloween, most Americans probably have no idea why they dress up in costumes or go trick-or-treating for candy. These traditions and practices come from the ancient Celtic festival Samhain. It was both a harvest celebration as well as a festival of the dead (som even believe it was

I have absolutely no problem with slutty costumes.

As a massive cosplayer type I say anytime that's an excuse to dress up with some friends and have a good time is a good day.

Same in denmark. Halloween is only 8 years old over here. It's capitalism right there. We have an ancient equivalent which we still practice, so now we have two.
