I just helped my friend work on her “master” resume where she lists all of her experience from her two post college jobs, and her relevant internship. She won’t submit this version to a job, but she can then tailor it down to focus on what’s relevant for a specific job- the HR stuff, the admin stuff, writing, etc.

I’ll admit I’ve pondered getting my brows done, but I think that’s from the rest of my face being covered for over a year, so I’m more aware of how nuts they look if I don’t at least comb them, and am more bothered by them being uneven than I would be in a normal time of life.

This is what I’ve been doing. Wear it in my apartment for the elevator/lobby, then on the sidewalks until I get on the trail. Then I pop it into my pack while I’m on the trail, so I have it handy if I go anywhere and have it ready to go on the sidewalks/lobby on the way back into my apartment.

Once I learned I could make my own labneh by straining yogurt, my at home dip life has improved greatly.

It’s interesting that the letter writer seems to know they need to block this person, but it’s “too easy” to unblock them. To me, the point of blocking was the extra hurdle if I wanted to look on his facebook page. It wouldn’t come up in a search, and I’d realize “oh yeah, I do not want to see this.” Blocking email

Getting a wildly expensive giant Diet Coke is one of the great pleasures of going to see a movie. It’s really the only time I drink it these days (and by these days, I mean over a year ago the last time I saw a movie) and it is the best.

How many Claire recipes can you combine into an ultimate “Will it Casserole?”

What are they calling size-inclusive?

I did remote therapy for this. It wasn’t actually my intention, I started the therapy to deal with my breakup, but unsurprisingly breaking up and moving in the middle of a pandemic drove my food issues up wildly high, so my therapy pivoted to focus on this more.

I’m not planning on forgiveness at all. If it happens, it will be a miracle that will completely change my life.

In my old neighborhood a gluten free bakery opened up around the corner, so my ex and I would stop quite a bit because we liked the owner and they liked to share small business owner tips and whatnot.

My pet peeve is when restaurants have one dish (or catering at events) that is vegan, gluten free, everything free to cover their bases. Please give me the option of some form of cheese and flour.

I hated the taste and texture of meat, so the only meats I would eat as a kid were the super processed unhealthy ones anyone. Finally my mom was frustrated with fighting me on it and took me to the doctor. She said “she drinks milk, eats peanut butter, and is at the top of the growth chart, she’s fine.”

I’ve discussed my eating disorders with my sister. I struggled (and worked with a remote therapist) during Covid, really in the worst way since college. So I decided to be open with people about my boundaries not discussing my weight, dieting, etc.

This reminds me of a Youtube video I was watching of a guy showing his recipe for chili oil. Pretty basic stuff, some chili, other herbs/spices, then hot oil.

I’m considering buying a car, but it really is such a hassle without currently having a car.

I used to use clear mascara for my brows. I have no idea why I bought clear mascara in the first place, but it worked well and was easy enough to apply with a spoolie built in.

Now I’m wondering if once a week is too often. But I was proud to get into the habit of stripping the bedding and washing it every Saturday, so I guess I’ll keep it up. The downside would be wearing them out faster, I suppose.

Yes cabbage is so cheap and so versatile I love it.

I don’t know how to resize in kinja, but this was my Scruffy late last year when he was first rescued. He’s got his summer shave now, and is curled up napping in a too-small bed he loves, right next to my desk.
