It depends on the power of the HOA. I have an HOA and it does nothing more than keep a fund to replace and repair the sidewalks. HOA or not, I know I don’t want live next door to someone who has a junk yard of rusted Jeeps sitting in the driveway.

As someone who has driven a big rig a few times over Cabbage Hill in Oregon, if you get in the low enough gear and use your Jake brakes, you don’t even have to touch the brakes.

What about power for EV’s, I think about 45% of Germany’s power is made from coal. US is 63% from fossil fuels.  You are just moving the nasties from one source to another.
