Sounded like he had his eyes set on Terren for the role from the beginning, but wasn’t able to make it work due Terren’s other roles with companies like Corsair.   If you notice, a lot of the former NCIX team are now at LMG - Linus, Riley, now Terren, etc.

They’re *massive* for a small business - LMG alone lists 76 employees on their “Our Team” page.

I think you have that backwards:
Only the most ignorant are *for* this merger.  Mergers are almost never good for consumers in the long run.  Case in point - Ticketmaster/LiveNation.

My understanding is that the CMA’s ruling can only overturned on technical grounds - ie: they applied the rules and regulations incorrectly, rather than on the facts themselves. I am all for them sticking it out and refusing to bend the knee.

It’s why I refuse to buy it until the moddable version comes out.  I played BotW with the durability mod that disabled the breaking weapons and it was a *LOT* better experience for me.  Before, I’d avoid all combat because I didn’t want to break my flame sword.. or I’d spend days building up a supply of one weapon…

I doubt we'll see a new switch anytime so soon.  It still is doing well for sales, and the games look good enough to be popular. I could see them waiting another 3 or 4 years before a refresh. Especially since it will give them a chance for the high costs of silicon to drop.
