You’ll need to explain specifically why this merger is bad for me. I subscribe to Game Pass. If MS acquires Activision, Activision’s games will be added to Game Pass, saving me a lot of money.

Never in the history of capitalism has consolidation of markets been good for the consumer.  It seems we forgot that lesson from the likes of JP Morgan and their ilk from the 1800's.

Mergers in general are bad for consumers, and any agency that steps in and hammers corporations from consolidation is a good thing to be supported.

Not necessarily as the CMA works differently than the US FTC. The standard is much harder to overturn - you have to prove they acted “irrationally, illegally or with procedural impropriety.” Given only 1/3rd of cases ever win the appeal, it is no foregone conclusion.

I’d say the termination of their biggest demagogue and liability in Tucker already signifies a shakeup in their business model - and that was only the first of several big lawsuits as indicated. 

Smartmatic should have the same opportunity as well.

I don’t care if they do or don’t make sense - we need to stop mergers in the first place from being so common.  A lot of our current late-stage capitalism woes can be seen in the tales of the late 19th century as well.

There is an avenue where you can be ‘unattractive’ to others due to personal growth and changes needed by you, accepting that you are the reason behind this, and either changing or living with your situation... and those chucklefucks.

I don’t enjoy the survival mechanics of durability in my Zelda game without a ready access to repair them - especially since things break after 1-2 fights anyways.

All I want to know:
When will the geniuses make it playable on my Steam deck, so I can enable mods to disable durability.

I’m overweight and I found it needlessly offensive.  So that’s 2:1.
