I want the research to be done. I'm calling for the science to be done on whether glyphosate affects the gut microbiome.

It's that some people are impetuous and engage in bad dialogue, which is my pet peeve.

I'm talking about glyphosate. There has not been a single study that tests for the effects of glyphosate on the gut microbiome population.

Show me ONE study that tests mammals like rats or rabbits, with a gut microbiome, that assays for microbe populations with and without glyphosate.

He thought i had promise and pushed me to be a critical thinker and to explain myself well. I hope he is happy with me as my ancestor.

Well if a murdered gives away money to the homeless, they're still a murderer.

Fuck off, i'm tried of you.

I'm worried about the chemical in the food, specifically glyphosate, which is in much of our food today thanks to Mother Monsanto. 300 micrograms in your 100 grams of soybeans? This chemical blocks the EPSP synthase in the shikimic acid pathway and this pathway is in the 100 trillion gut microbes that help you live a

Carrots cure Vitamin A deficiency much more easily.

How do you think GMOs have saved a multitude of lives? Glyphosate (sprayed on Roundup Ready crops) has taken a multitude of lives, both directly in Sri Lanka and El Salvador with the spraying resulting in acute kidney failure by some complication, as well as probably in the course of being ingested by most people on

And, glyphosate has not been thoroughly tested, either. There have been studied but it's more of a "wall of science" than conscientious testing, as they did not test for effects on the mammalian gut microbiome.

Glyphosate has NOT undergone "rigorous testing" if by rigorous you mean testing the more likely pathways by which it could affect human health before being put into our daily bread.

I hope you are being ironic, "Excitable"

Genetic splicing is very different from selective breeding. Get off your high horse and get real. We have no time for bullshit.

Possibly glyphosate may possibly disrupt the EPSP synthase enzyme, the second step of the shikimic acid pathway, and possibly this is how it kills plants in microgram quantities, and possibly we get about 100 to 300 micrograms of this toxin in 100 grams of HT GM soybeans on average, and possibly it passes to our gut,

Good for Neil. Monsanto sells Roundup Ready crop seeds and glyphosate (Roundup's main active ingredient) which is likely to disrupt the human gut microbiome, and they haven't tested for that, and didn't think it was so important, although the science clearly points toward this hypothesis. One more case of profits
