Holy shit; I had no idea Arkane made Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. That game was amazing. I get the appeal for Dishonored; truly I do — basically, it’s Dark Messiah Combat wrapped into a Deus Ex game...

Red Faction is the game that needs a reboot. Hopefully they do it properly and go full on Half-Life with the destruction like the original. The first red faction is so damned good it hurts, it’s still great to this day, but it’s super dated in terms of graphics.

Armageddon was a result of Volition becoming bankrupt and trying to churn out a game in their best selling series for cheap to try to stay afloat.

I agree; Red Faction was Half-Life on Mars with Destruction. It’s been all down hill for that series since the Original. When they scaled back the destruction and went single player only on Red Faction 2.
