I like Electric Scrollsaloo.
I like Electric Scrollsaloo.
Scrolls but with mohawks and tattoos and piercings.
You mean like the thousands of dollars worth of camera/sound/video editing software/CG software/etc. that Hollywood already has?
I was very upset that I actually pre-ordered ME2... ME3 is hard to justify a purchase.
Hah.
If people hold onto their copies for longer, then they aren't selling them back. It also increases sales of the game later when people say, "hey, check out this thing they just released, you should totally get this game now!"
But the thing about Bethesda is that they were willing to experiment and adapt. EA has just gone ahead and kept doing the same old shit, despite tons of anger towards it. I mean, in a game where the number of your companions actually MAKES A DIFFERENCE, withholding one unless you pay more money is BS.
Not significantly. I should have specified a significant extension of game life. I figured people would get that, haha.
We're not your producers, we're your customers. If you're going to leave something out of a game then charge some ridiculous amount for it on day 1 after we've already purchased your game, we're gunna be pissed.
Then I don't REALLY need to use Origin except to start my games if I can't help it.
This is why Origin isn't going to make it. They barely ever have sales. They want their full price too badly, even when there's no media or packaging.
We're so high and mighty with our devices.
Eh, I like it better than Mass Effect 2. Though, a lot of the shit people say in this game is along the lines of "YA DON'T SAY?" Thanks, guys, I had NO idea Cerberus was up to no good.
I AM THE 6 PERCENT
It was good for an action game, crappy for anything even trying to be an RPG. ME1 set that RPG standard pretty high, and the quality of the RPG elements in ME2 were sub-par, and that's being nice.
I don't think a lot of people understand that any "game of the year" title isn't a consensus title. People always try to use the fact that ME2 was a GOTY whenever I say I didn't think it was a good game.
Yeah, I don't buy it. That sounds like the most ridiculous way to go as far as media is concerned. Maybe of solid state technology was cheaper, yeah, but even a Bluray disc (which is still hard to believe because of Sony) would be cheaper. But it's not.
You're confusing programming with the engine.
And it still has its roots in Gamebryo, because a lot of it is really the same.
Heavily modified Gamebryo engine. That's why it feels similar. It doesn't even look that great... Honestly, if you go look at a rock close up, you'll be looking at a blurry picture of a rock.
