@8oardR1der: Often my way of doing things. Who needs directions anyway?

This doesn't fix the problem. Does Apple believe they can distract us by fixing a different problem and then saying they fixed 'the' problem?

Hey, if they don't claim to make calls you can't say they did.

@Joe Stoner: I don't know if any of these CEO's have the time to respond with paragraph loads-worth.

If Apple is going to make a flawed phone, it's only fair that competitors tout such "features" as being able to hold a phone whichever way desired.

I completely agree. I came to the same conclusion a while ago. I can run the Kindle app on essentially any device I own - all Apple devices, and my PC that lies around (I don't have a Kindle or Android device). And maybe it's just me but Kindle has quite a nice selection and much more polished than some of it's

I definitely have stronger reception and faster speeds now, in both Manhattan and the outer boroughs. The quality severely declines and coverage becomes spotty, however, when I head to Connecticut where I attend school. There, I have dropped calls galore and my download speeds are slow to a crawl. @marballe: they can and they will

I'd buy it for $5. Enough said.

If this is what Boing Boing had to say about the iPhone 4, what on Earth did they think of the previous updates? The iPhone 3GS and its accompanyings OS 3.0 were absolute ridiculous jokes of updates - barely anything changed. iPhone 4 actually brings a significantly different look and feel, with new additions, and

It's been 1984 for a while now.

Amazon especially makes it ridiculously easy to purchase. iTunes isn't exactly bad either. But the only time I ever see Google Checkout at all is if I search for an item with Google's Shopping Search. I, also, have only used it once. If it can gain traction Google Checkout can provide serious competition to PayPal

Can we have App Folder covers? Like icons assigned to a particular app folder. For instance, instead of having that hideous 3x3, we could either choose one particular app icon within that folder or perhaps even choose from our own 'Photos'.

Okay I sit around Gizmodo almost ALL day. You choose the two hour period I wasn't available to do this? Bah.

Mine said "eight" minutes to download but I swear the first minute was at least three minutes. And then the installing took incredibly long. All this when I sync my 3GS almost daily, and had it manually backed up. It took a half hour (yes, I understand this is nothing compared to what people are suffering

Okay, if Google ever wants me to drop my iPhone for Android, I NEED to get one of these with my phone.

@G-Ram: You get to mess around with the OS beforehand. Why not?
