This is too innovative to be Apple's 'next' mouse. If the pattern holds true, they will wait some years for the technology to have been developed on an Apple prototype. They're too scared to be ahead of the curve.

@BiG: That's exactly it. The really revolutionary thing with Apple is marketing. Apple makes it's products revolutionary and those features essential. I mean let's face it, flash camera phones have been around. Steve Jobs is selling it right now with a whole page dedicated to how sleek the iPhone camera is.
