@gobofraggle: That's exactly my problem, too. I work for a start-up and every person has a necessary role to fill.
@cgarison: ;)
I'm moving next week and thinking about just not unpacking. Not right away, anyway. I'm going to try to use clothes and other items out of the boxes, then put them in their "home" when finished, so I can see what I actually use out of everything, and purge the rest.

re: canned signatures Found that tip in the comments of a Gmail signature article on Lifehacker some time ago.. it's awesome, particularly when you need different signatures.. just load em up all up in Canned Responses.
@wickedpixel: I'm a big fan of Method's hardwood cleaner ([www.methodhome.com]), although if it's that dirty you still might need to do it several times.
I'm moving in 2 weeks and ditching cable. I watch 4 channels, but I'd have to order about 600 channels to get them because they all come in different "packages". I can't afford that. Until cable companies start offering channels à la carte, I think I'm done.
Ohh, looking forward to seeing the results of this one. I need a password manager BADLY and have been putting off doing the research. Good timing, Lifehacker :)
@shrik: So did I.. happily, Win7 finds everything perfectly :)
I totally read the title of this as "...for More Stressful Sleep". Heh. I might be tired.
I might...if, you know, it ever becomes available in my country! *shakes fist*
@SQLGuru: Ohh, good idea! I was previously using checkins on Foursquare for that ;)
I was *constantly* drunk dialing my aunt's biz partner, because her name starts with A and she was the first person in my list - less than ideal. So I added my voicemail to my contact list, and labelled it as '* Voicemail'.
I'm currently using WMP (not sure which version) on my work machine for the simple fact that iTunes is a bloated POS and I'm running Vista. My music needs at work are fairly simple; play my songs randomly. I don't need cover art, playlists, podcasts or a store. And WMP is already installed. Done.
The company I used to work for had bought all it's office furniture from Ikea. Whenever we added new staff and had to buy another desk, I'd use the Ikea planner simply because it lets you print out an itemized list of the products you need. My boss could take that in, hand it to any associate, and come back with the…
@AmphetamineCrown: Yep, that's about how it goes :) but *some* stuff will get purged, dang it!
I'm moving in a month. I already had to do some decluttering to stage my house to sell; the rest will be done as I pack/unpack. I'm so excited for all the purging and reorganization!
Even the puppy matches!
I put myself in the "some complaints" category, although my only complaint is that it's too damn hard to network with other non-Win7 devices. The permissions are too hidden. Everything else is awesome though.
