3,201 days to retirement...
Serious question: How do I apply this to adults without sounding condescending*?
I’ve been listing my top three things to do at work every day but then I was adding the next three, and the next, and then it was spiraling out of control into the never ending list of everything that needs to get done - way too overwhelming.
My big boobs would not be happy. :/
I’m not crying! You’re crying!
I know right? And if I don’t adhere to the schedule/system, it all falls apart in a hot minute! ugh discipline is hard :/
Yup. Having a system helps. I typically start looking ahead at the following week on Friday. Friday night starts chores at home (start laundry, pick out recipes, make a grocery list). Saturday morning is grocery shopping, finish laundry (don’t forget to change the sheets!), and start cooking. Maybe some golf. Sunday…
This. And bone against bone creates bone spurs which creates more pain. I had names for mine in both my knees: BrittKNEE Spears, KNEEal Armstrong, you get the idea.
Been there. Finding another job is a full-time job in itself. Hang in there, and keep getting out of bed, taking a shower, and getting dressed. Having a routine helps.
Good idea those flaps! I made a pyramid out of toilet paper rolls and the first thing they did was just knock it over :/
Birdie and Bogey sharing my lap
Oh, or I could cough/sneeze into them ... ;)
This.
This. I have plenty of interests, hobbies, activities, etc. that will keep me busy. Plus I’d like to do some volunteer work. I am so ready to retire (fingers crossed) in a few years (sooner if other things work out).
