Well, I wouldn’t cut out lunch once a week with coworkers - not because it is a “pleasure” ugh - but because it is important to network and stuff...

No. There’s science. Period. Read the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) on any and all chemicals you use and protect yourself accordingly.

The sloped surface (uneven). The difference of the thickness of a dime or paperclip is all it takes to make us trip and fall. We don’t pick our feet up much and when one side is higher than the other, it increases our risk. That’s also why both sides of the threshold cannot vary more than 1/8”.

This. I turn off the tv, radio, etc. and just enjoy the task (which becomes less a task and more - dare I say, pleasure?).

Concrete is very corrosive and burns skin and mucus membranes (eyes, nasal passages, mouth). Also, the dust contains silica which is very harmful (even toxic) when inhaled.

Thank you! That was the first thing I saw! Tripping hazard!!!

Great article, Eric! The things I remember the most about being poor (growing up and as a young adult) is the shame and stress.

I did not know Target had their own coupons! Thanks!

You are very welcome!

Women’s symptoms for heart attacks are different than men’s and could be jaw pain, stomach pain, shortness of breath, nausea, fatigue...

Good. VERY Creepy NETFLIX documentary.

You know I have to give your mom all the stars for safety :)

I don’t use food coupons because rarely are they for fruits and vegetables - usually they are for processed food. Even when they are for something I can use (canned beans, frozen veges), the store brand is still cheaper (and just as good) as the name brand with the doubled coupon :/

I like articles like this. I might just have to fit in writing with nanowrimo around the corner...

Good points. I try to do the 80/20 and really try to select the most enjoyable “20” I can. That and I don’t want to do another hour of water aerobics to work off a Snickers bar!

Not at all. With all today’s dietary issues (allergies, gluten issues, vegan choices, etc.), one can politely decline a piece of cake. If that makes or breaks you at work, get another job...
