+1 Thanks for making me smile!

Have you thought about rescuing a cat? I have never seen a mouse or even evidence of mice while owning a cat. Although I do occasionally find crickets missing their legs.

I survived a Jewish mother, and, in reading this article, I realized I employee every one of these to suit my needs, so I've got that going for me :/

And, not to get picky - but I will: "They also note to set up outdoors, far away from flammable structures..." Try "combustible" structures (like ordinary wood construction, siding, roofing materials, etc).

I'm gonna have to say "No." Turkey fryers are not worth the risk - so much so that UL still does not list them. If you find one with a UL label, report it to them (cause it's an illegal use of their markings).

I love the songs! The words are too funny! It reminds me of the Budweiser "Real Men of Genius" commercials.

Thanks for the tips on what to say instead of just "No" or "I'm too busy." I'm going to try those!

I keep a To Do list of "Spare Time" projects that I would do if I had the time. Things that are not a priority right now. It doesn't matter how small or big or crazy they sound.

This. Because I WILL send links to UfYH!

If you can, plant peony bushes. They are pollinated by ants. Just plant them away from your house.

This. But be careful not to write too much or you will be expected to produce meeting minutes and all you have to show for it is your grocery list :/

I was just thinking that! Someone would instigate a flame war, go back and edit their initial comment, and make everyone else look crazy or like they are overreacting to a banal comment. And then we see it on lamebook or failbook...

LOL I meant to say "Cooking fires cause 44% of reported house fires" but that early in the morning my fingers typed two thoughts into one statement LOL

I've never been a big fan of "reality" tv. I watch tv to escape reality. If I want gossiping, fighting, back stabbing, etc., I'll go to work to watch it ;)

For the love of all that is holy, be careful! I wouldn't even do this, and I used to be a fire fighter! Cooking fires caused 44% of reported kitchen fires (and that's not cooking with flammables!) www.nfpa.org

1. Take better care of your health. Seriously.

I like the whole "buy experiences instead of things" but I have a horrible memory so I subscribe to the "buy a camera instead of things" theory. I love to stroll down memory lane through my pictures :)
