Umm...Accutane has way more risks than a vitamin overdose. Did you look into the emotional side effects? As in - greatly increases the risk of depression and even sometimes suicide? i can tell you from anecdotal experience, those side effects can at least mildly hit even the most happy, positive person in the room.

Yeah, I think all of there soap is. It's a great marketing tool.

I agree us consumers need to make smart choices about what we eat. I'm not disagreeing with that at all. I fully believe in taking responsibility for yourself and your well-being.

Yeah. I hadn't thought of it either until I read a newspaper article. Makes sense, though.

Interesting that you would use the word "claustrophobic." I know people who moved from the plains states to somewhere more dense with trees and more hills or mountains and felt claustrophobic because all of a sudden they couldn't see for miles and miles in front of them. Guess it's all what you get used to.

Um. You don't need a rooster in order to get an egg. A fertilized one, yes, but an egg you can eat, no.

That's not entirely fair either. Produce shipped in from other locations is sometimes picked raw and treated or injected with color to make it look riper or ripen faster. It's not picked ripe and it doesn't taste great. Having to choose between that and something from a different part of the supermarket is a tough

eesh. I have even read stories about people entering their home address on their car GPS systems so that they can always map to or from it. Then, thieves can break in and steal their garage door openers and their GPS, and guess what - directions and access! (Better to enter a gas station or something close to your

Famewhore maybe. If I was offered a brief stint on reality TV, hopefully in some way that wouldn't manage to sabatoge my entire social circle and actual life, I might seriously consider it. I mean, if the kids from Jersey Shore can make $11 million a year... I might be willing to put up with 5-minutes of fame to

That's funny!

I totally agree. They make sense on just about every level.

Not that it's an excuse, but he probably doesn't have to. I am sure they have household and nanny staff out the wazoo. And, if he is someone who doesn't want to change a diaper, why would he? i'm not saying it makes him an exceptional father, but it does make him less of a jerk towards Kourtney, because it's not

That and her running away from engagement to her long time boyfriend on the show; they interspersed scened of her feeling anxiety about his potential popping the question with scenes of her and Morgan or her thinking of Morgan.

Unfortunately, as much as I think "we know," I don't think all women know how to act differently. Let's see if I can phrase this how I mean it: women (in this context I am referring to I think most women growing up in western society) grow up seeing images and media where women are portrayed acting sensually or

I like it. America better damn well stand behind that, then.

edited to delete - double post

Curious, chicken and egg thought... did the reduction of women to their body parts happen in media because women's bodies are easier to parse into their parts than men, or do I think that women's bodies are easier to parse than men because i've seen so much reductionist imagery.

I'm calling out all the posts on Jezebel that always refer to Kate Middleton as "princess shiny locks." It's probably innocent, but in the bigger picture...

I think when you're a professional sport player, once you get into the game you completely forget about the crowd looking at your body and body issues. When i played in buns (i.e. briefs in high school and college volleyball) I felt body conscious until I started playing and then my head was pretty much in the game.

You beat me to this. I was going to say the same. I much preferred buns (i.e. briefs) when I played. The shorts got in the way at the net (when you jump they can come up and touch the bottom of the net) and when we switched to spandex I found myself distracted by the tight fabric around my legs and kept tugging at
