I really and truly believe that I grew up with a strong body image not just because I didn't really have teen magazines around (I did get a subscription to YM when I was in high school for a few years), but also because I can't ever remember my Mom buying or having adult fashion magazines around. There was never

Yeah. I have only seen her in this clip and found her insufferable. I couldn't imagine growing up in the media shit storm that her family has created around themselves. But, that does not forgive her rude behavior, in my book. And for her to excuse it because she's 17 so she gets to act like a child, is ridiculous.

Oy. Good luck with that here. But, I agree with you. Maybe he should've watched what he said better, but it was also said in the context of his co-star relationship with Emily Blunt. How do we know that wasn't a fast statement for him because of some conversation or running joke or something the two of them had

Good to know. I know I haven''t see all his work.

That's because there's no news. It's all op-ed pieces about news someone else covered being pilfered as "news," or its a recap of a television clip. It's really infuriating actually. i want more actual news better presented. Shouldn't we, as a public demand more? But no, we, (and I include myself in this) settle

I have high hopes for Tony Shaloub, because this is right up his alley. But I also have a little trepidation. I have yet to see him in a role that didn't involve some lame self-deprecating humor. and, while Betee was offbeat, he didn't have that sense of self-deprecation to me, so I would not like that added to the

I think the pressures are there for certain guys as well. I know someone whose father never talked about his fraternity, and you would never know he was in one, but when his son went to a school where the fraternity existed was so excited that his son had the opportunity to pledge that the son did. Not sure if he

I feel this way a lot about Sarah Silverman. I really like her as a person, from what I can tell from afar anyway, and I think she has clever, funny, thoughts and ideas. But, a lot of times her delivery doesn't work for me and the joke falls flat; sometimes its because it's too crass, but I think it's also because I

Seriously. I'll take some classic Janet moves please.

I think it's probably less in the wording of the card, but more in the design of the card - I've seen a lot with husband and wife silohouettes.

First, so very deeply sorry for that having happened to you.

Kinda makes me feel like the author of this article is one of those men who would go to his children's sporting events for the sole purpose of pacifying his wife's complaints about his never helping around the house.

I feel like that sums up most web "articles" that are touted as journalism these days. It makes me so sad that true news stories are now almost completely eclipsed by op-ed pieces written under the guise of journalism and news.

Wait Don Draper doesn't spend hours to look that put-together? I beg to disagree. Don Draper has hours in make-up and a hairstylist on hand every second to fix every stray strand that falls in his face.

Seriously, right? It's almost as bad as the headlines on AOL. com. I expect more from Jezebel.com than sensationalistic headlines that are uberexaggerated in relation to the content of the article itself. Sadly, this is happening more and more frequently on this site. I wish Jezebel.com would trust that we will

That was exactly my reaction at reading this post. I mean, c'mon. I find it hard to believe, like you said, that a man is going to his child's sporting events simply to put in his time in supporting the family in order to get out of having to raise a finger in housework. Like he's using spending time with his kids

I started to post to agree with you. But, then, taking just the word, Khaleesi, and saying it a few times, without the context of the books, I think I changed my mind. I could see the potential for it being used as a very girly name like Kaylee, but it also has the potential for some real strength and power behind

Hm. Not sure. I can see where Photoshop really isn't the issue. And, really, while I would like to think we would all rush to buy the magazine with the authentic, unphotoshopped images, would we? I would like to think so. But, part of magazine-buying for me, is because I know some of it is fantazy. The pictures

Oh my goodness. I can't even believe I did that. I know better. I'm actually appreciating the correction. So - thanks.

I think the general overall delivery of the two comics makes a difference. While, Louis CK's joke, on its own, in my opinion is not a good rape joke, and is like Tosh's in that it is about rape being absurdly casual, Louis CK's other material clearly shows his respect for all people and women so his nuanced punch line
