To be fair, Maura is also kind of selfish and fucked up... she uses money as a weapon constantly and lies and makes promises to manipulate her kids constantly. They all deserve each other. Except Judith Light, she’s the moral high point of the show.

I love this show and I think Tambor has done a great job but casting him in that role still makes me a little uncomfortable. The cis thing, sure, but he’s also a Scientologist. They’re notoriously bigoted towards homos and trans people. It’s hard for me to figure out how he balances that. Same with Laura Prepon on…
