Yeah, I get that every so often when I’m on vacation in some tropical area that I would never be able to afford or schedule if I had kids (which tends to come with marriage by default eventually) then I remember I’m on a tropical island enjoying life

Something that I find interesting is if you look at period films from the 30s based in Japan many people are still wearing traditional clothing in their day to day... you see a mix of uniforms/suits and hakamas then 20yrs later it’s all gone.. replaced with rockabilly thugs and pin stripes
