Every time these ghost-written books are mentioned from celebs like the Kardashians, someone makes a joke about them being illiterate. The idea that women who trade on their appearance can’t also be literate is an ugly and sexist response. I don’t care who it’s about.

The ending annoyed me. Like, Feyre, you had one job to do.

I was not expecting the level of sex scenes that are found in it. Like, especially to the point of having a whole fucking plot thread just so there could be a “we have to stay at an inn, but there’s only one bed” scene.

If it’s the book I’m thinking of, my GOD does the sequel have some hot sex scenes, especially for YA. I agree some of the plot aspects are a bit problematic but the heroine is quite strong and most people in the books actually respect that, which is a nice bonus.
