Yes, grim comedy can be healing. It's a great 'we're all in this mess together' signifier - the feeling of being in a cinema, while we all laugh at the great mess we're in, can be really reassuring.

Oh, good! The main issue is that it's not only my games - it's also my brother's, which I… don't particularly enjoy playing.
It does seem easy. (My Dad works IT so I have most of the basics regarding PC building down - I don't think it can be much different.)
My brother bought himself Destiny for the PS4 so I'm out of a console for the last few days of my vacation. Curse him and curse my weak heart.
There were really good as Those Two Disney Guys.
I think CW added some more depth to him - I like that his reaction to regaining his memories was '…. i'm getting the hell out of here LALALALA'.
'Practical' is a little bit of an overstatement.
Nnnnot exactly - more like, by the 1600s, the great consonant shifting was being normalized. So 'later', it's already /x/, fairly velarized. The change likely started in the XV century.
Well, Celene is pretty much one of the most awful characters in the series, though. I mean, I tend to get her back together with Briala because they deserve each other, but they both deserve to be executed.
Eh, it depends in how you play it. It's one of my favourite games, flaws and all, but people tend to get bogged down on sidequests that are incredibly skippable.
I was actually pretty spoiled when I finally played it and… those moments still really worked. I knew the ending, but but but.
Hm, those words of Emily did hit home for me, because I spent half the game thinking about that. IDK, she makes comments here and there about nobles (specially with the Palace level) and her doubts about Delilah hinted at that.
Thanks!
Oh, I think that part of the issue is that Corypheus is a red herring - the temple is not just 'background', it's telling you the story of the actual villain of the game. But they invested in the plot twist and therefore just didn't care much about Corypheus himself.
Oh, the ending of DA2 is just… terrible. Somebody mentioned that 'DAI wasn't even a proper RPG' or something like that and… well, maybe that's a good thing!
People are just envious of our natural ability to showboat with absolutely no reason to.
Argentinian accents have been used to good effect, actually! It's good shorthand for 'sweet-talking, arrogant con man'.
That one was the first quest I heard about, because it was the first one my brother told me about, in hysterics.
Yep, but it's more like I think DA:O is a fairly standard game but DA2 is a wasted masterpiece. There were a lot of great ideas that could have impacted RPGs as a whole, but EA was tapping its watch.
I'm really excited about Weekes taking over. And one of the things I like about DA is how the very disparate stories of each game do have an overarching plot, in the end.
