It seemed like they were trying to do that with Daredevil S2 and Luke Cage to some extent but things got kind of muddled.

I don’t think giving Matt Murdock a legal case plays to the strengths of that show’s creators...

Dear lord, The Defenders sucked. Kang really liked the first season of Jessica Jones and enjoyed (at least the first half of ) Luke Cage, but The Defenders was such a non-event that it almost single-handedly killed Kang’s enthusiasm for any more Marvel TV. Haven’t even watched The Punisher, afraid that any further

I look at AGENTS OF SHIELD and see how their mini-arcs with an overarching plot work really well -I honestly don’t know why they don’t try the same thing with these Netflix Marvel shows - have some stuff that lasts 3-4 episodes each, but all ties together over the course of 13. Like you say, Jessica Jones and

I know, right? Couldn’t that dude’s brain have made me a little skinnier? And given me a hotter car to drive?

“hmmm..... Dil...da? ....Dilda ....Baggins......?”

You wish.

Cider would be a good call, especially after the “that doesn’t taste like it looks” line. Cider tastes like... how beer looks.

I was hoping that the bartender would hand him cider. I know Zima is funnier, but “like beer but delicious” is an almost perfect description of hard cider.

Rene might have had honorable intentions for doing what he did but then he got mad that Oliver no longer trusted him and then he just became nasty and vindictive. I understood where he was coming from at first but now he’s a lost cause.

wtf is satire, lol

So true. They think their delivering a deep conflict but I think a majority of people are still still struggling to find any redeemable features to NTA.

Seems like they wanted a schism to drive NTA away, but not anything too awful that makes Team Arrow look like the bad guys... and it’s just terrible. So here we are, saddled with a scenario that wasn’t that bad (cause we’re still rooting for Oliver) but needed to be treated like an Judas level betrayal to fit the story

burn in hell moron

I can’t get over how bad this episode was, on all levels. Although it doesn’t shock me tbh. Anything that focuses on Dinah and the rest of the newbies these days is just...bad.

I kind of like Cabin Fever, but agree that it is all trash.

I’m still amazed how Max Landis and Josh Trank both managed to immediately piss away every bit of goodwill they got from Chronicle.

Three fifths? Sounds like a decent Compromise.

Same goes for Starship Troopers.

Yeah the original Deatb Wish is uncomfortable. The later sequels just get sillier and sillier. Bronson was in his 70s by the end and they were being made by Canon films. So it was comedic gold
