The “why” is pretty clear. He was trying to shoot someone else and missed. Cayden doesn’t think Ollie killed his son deliberately.

I disagree that they’ve ruined Mr. terrific. He’s been pretty consistent. Unless you mean compared to the comics.

“Oliver’s final appeal to Dinah seemed startlingly un-empathetic”

Ooh good point

Yea, killing Coulson solves the problem of “The Avengers still don’t know he’s alive!”

It’s weird the show is now completely acting like the Avengers don’t exist with Kasisus “With SHIELD out of the way, my father will face no opposition.”

Palladium poisoning

Oh really? I totally misinterpreted that too then haha

I was worried about that too but considering she was the one who came up with the idea to blow away the rest of those Kree soldiers like two scenes later, I don’t think the show is gonna be glossing over her dark side. Her look at Fitz may just have been surprise, because that isn’t something pre-Framework Fitz would

It’s kind of funny to me that people can witness the profoundly illogical rationalisations of real life racism but then complain because “People being racist against mutants but not other superheroes doesn’t make sense.” Of course not, and in that regard it’s an accurate reflection of real life racism.

Bravo.

Lmao!!! Winning comment

should’ve checked with Khamala Khan

AOS? No pym tech has been used in AOS. If you’re thinking of that building that imploded, that was actually a call back to Howard Stark’s similar bomb over on Agent Carter. So different tech entirely.

It’s all about the angles baby! (Is how I rationalise it)

I just rationalised it as that being the simplified explanation that Hank gives people to avoid having to actually explain the super complicated process involving other dimensions and quantum mechanics. Also its good for security if people wanting to replicate the formula think it works a certain way when it doesn’t.

Reminds me of Fitz’ comment in agents of shield where Mack asks if they should take the building that was just imploded with them: “Uh, yeah, sure. Have you been working out? ‘Cause it weighs, like, 100,000 tons. It’s a building.”

I really liked that shot in Avengers that showed how his high tech quiver worked to let him select different arrow types. More cool shots that showcase his level of dexterity and how he uses his specialised arsenal to level the playing field would be nice. (Civil War did a decent job but still)

I also like the fact that, from the one interaction they’ve actually had, it seems like they don’t particularly like each other. Probably because Sam left while Rhoden is as committed as ever. Working with veterans with PTSD has clearly given Sam some disillusionment with the military and the systems it is enabled

Yea but they changed the names for a reason. So it remains to be seen just how severe a cliffhanger it is
