Greatness awaits. For a long time.
Don’t listen to these chuckleheads, Breath of the Wild is absolutely a “resource intensive” game, especially considering how much it has to pull off on hardware that’s markedly inferior to the hardware Horizon runs on. BotW doesn’t have a ton of complex trees everywhere and a lot of its textures are watered down, but…
The thing I find very sad with leaks is that it doesn’t hurt the sales, it doesn’t hurt the editor, but the only people a leak actually hurts are the women and men working their asses off on the leaked game, doing countless overtime hours to ship and present the game in time.
Ask a games tester or a mission scripter how much they make a year
Why are people so bitchy about DLC? You got a 100% complete, fully-polished game. Maybe they had these features already planned and held them back on purpose for DLC. Maybe not. It’s impossible to know. (Aside from a handful of the amiibo-exclusive items, which don’t count, because those were always meant to be tied…
Nintendo are certainly sitting on a gold mine for some easy promos around themed controllers or special edition games with bundles themed units. It’s also a hell of a lot easier for buyers to justify some themed Joy Con than an entire brand new console like one has to do with the 3DS line.
I absolutely agree with Atlus and the content protection laws on this. Streaming the gameplay in a game like this can really hurt sales more than with other types of games.
I don’t expect everyone to have intimate knowledge of the workings of AAA video games, but come on — Mass Effect Andromeda was made by hundreds of people. Do you really think ONE person was responsible for all the animations? Subpar animation work can be the result of so so so many factors, including technology…
This just further reinforces my theory that if you want to make a game where everything is solved by bullets or explosions, that you need to include a grappling hook, reusable parachute, and wingsuit.
I have no idea if this guy has decent videos or not, I can never bring myself to hit play when he relies so heavily on a shtick that evokes fascist/nazi iconography.
Not to mention that Nintendo is likely catering to hardcore fans directly right now and will begin to focus on the more general population as we move towards Christmas. I bet we get a Pokemon and Animal Crossing to go with Mario by Christmas.
Why they have weird architecture and normal architecture? Why they have flying weird cars and totally normal 2015 model audis?
So your “favorite” games from October is basically a list of almost all the games released in October?
What.the.fuck?
I’ll be in Tokyo when it comes out! Already preordered and have it set to ship to the Family Mart nearest to my accommodations.
How hard is it to like something different? (Assuming it’s not sticker star 2.0)
There's a massive disconnect between game developers and the customer. It is hilarious watching threads of people discussing your work and pretending to know how your code works.
