It is very cringe.

Since the early 1900s. Ladies who lunch. There's a reason all those old department stores had a restaurant in them.

Depends which drugs, I guess? Unfortunately I know a lot of addicts, and most of them have kids. :(

Thank you!

Two years with someone else's heart ticking away inside me.

It’s my transplant-aversary tomorrow.

I'm immunosuppressed. My doctor's advice was to get it even though they don't think it will have as much of protection that other people get. Something is better than nothing. Still taking lots of precautions, though.

I made jalapeno lemonade (there was a commercial advertising it and I didn't want to go buy it). I don't know if I can ever make regular lemonade again.

I’ve had a number of heart procedures with just twilight sedation or local anaesthesia. Like wires inserted into my heart and being defibrillated. I even refused benzos for those. I’d say I regretted it, because it wasn’t exactly great, but I’m also kind of scared of GA because I woke up once during a pretty intense

You are not alone in hating American Beauty.
