Do you know how god damned happy I and likely many mechanics would be if they’d print the oil capacity on the damn filler cap? I’ve taken to branding it into the cap of the cars I own with a hot nail.

Yesha! This letter is nowhere near as savage as the headline would have me believe. I came down here to cackle. After reading those excerpts, all I can do is praise him for his growth and maturity and being man enough to own up to his mistakes.

People shriek about it, then go drink copious amounts of alcohol, a class 1 carcinogen. But let’s worry about the minuscule amount of Roundup we may ingest.

It’s a class 2A, meaning it possibly causes cancer in very specific lab conditions. Those conditions happen to include dosages thousands of times higher than you will ever be exposed to. Anyone with a rudimentary familiarity of toxicology knows that the dose makes the poison. There is, as yet, no evidence that Roundup

Only if performed redundantly.

Having sex with Peruvians is cancer causing?

Gives a giant middle finger to science, too.

This is an excellent, well made video.

It’s really not that hard if you have the right instructor and don’t try and shift it like it’s an automotive 5 speed. Too many people think they can hop right in and try to shift it like it’s an old dodge neon

It really isn’t that simple. I tried learning how to double clutch. Couldn’t do it. Now when I shift it’s all without the clutch. There are no similarities between a car and semi transmission when it comes to shifting.

Three on the tree, how hard could it be?

While a car and commercial truck manual transmission seem the same. The difference is in a lack of synchro’s in the truck transmission.

Toxicity is all a function of quantity and route of admistration. In sufficient quantity, everything is toxic. Some things are only toxic if ingested, or inhaled, or delivered intravenously.

I’m amazed that no one has been sued for rolling coal. The bar for civil tort is incredibly low in the US. “Judge, my child’s asthma was inflamed by the intentional, unlawful discharge from this person’s vehicle, causing medical bills, missed school days, and emotional distress.”

My 1972 C50 laughs at your young punk Tacomas 22 years young. Hell ive got hydraulic fluid in the dump bed older than your Tacoma. Id change it but hell you know it will break for sure then.

One front brake? Really?

Damn..

Just on a comparative basis, you needed 36% more power at 70mph than you did at 60mph. I used a cD of .50 and frontal area of 40sqft (3.7162 m2) in Wolfram Alpha’s drag calculator for that... drag force of 835.5N at 60mph, 1137N at 70mph.

I know someone who works at a JD dealer. We’ve actually discussed this a couple of years ago (or last year. Getting old sucks). If you tell them up front that you are “not factory” and you arent a dick about it, they won’t reflash anything without your say so. If you don’t tell them... Well, there are a surprisingly

I used to work as validation engineer in this industry and literally everyone does this: Kubota, Case-New Holland, Deere, AGCO, Fendt, Klaas, etc.
