Local estate/farm auction had two of these a few weeks back. 30-60k miles. One on the higher end, the other lower end of the mileage range. One flatbed, the other standard. Both 7.3.

You looked at land prices lately? Prime land is going for stupid high values with no basis in expected future earnings. It’s not hard for a small farm of 1000-1500 acres to reach that threshold. Annual income off that land? Figure 70-150,000. Though there are outlier figures.
I’ve never understood this wiper freeze to the window fear. If that happens, isn’t the whole window frozen anyway and must be de-iced before leaving. The wipers, being on the bottom of the window close to the vent, will thaw first.
I farm. Have Deere and new Holland. I've never come across a repair I had to call a dealer for programming. From what I understand, it's mainly things like fuel pumps and emissions equipment that requires dealer reset. And knowing farmers like I do, it's probably a good thing. Most would eliminate all the…
Deere windows are very easy to install. Just put one in Friday. 13 mm, 15mm, and screwdriver everything just bolts in. Expensive, but easy. Aftermarket is available but very slow to arrive. Dealer has it most of the time in stock.
Putting wipers up is just signaling to others in snow country that you know all about snow unlike those other guys.
Entire vehicles in his yard would simply cease to exist!
We go through a whole bottle permatex on a rebuild of one Tobacco cropper every season. Use it and things come apart when they break. Dont use it and you will spend all summer cussing when stuff breaks.
I’ve abused the crap out of an earthquake 3/4 impact air gun. It keeps right on chugging along. Lucky? Maybe. But so far it's been great. 2 years heavy farm use.
For conventional oil changes you are definitely right. For a full synthetic pull change its about break even. Maybe slightly cheaper if you buy things on sale. And anyway have the equipment. I’ve got pretty close to a full shop, so I do it myself. If I didn’t, I’d pay somebody because driveways suck.

We farm and fix heavy equipment all the time. I would trust my welds on our equipment. But I wouldn’t trust it on a car frame. Maybe one day, but not today.
My welds, if they break, always break right beside the bead. Just like the factory weld broke right beside the bead.
Extra fuel IS commonly used to cool cylinder temps on forced induction engines under heavy load.
We have hydrostatic farm equipment. Love them. But say you back the rear two wheels into a shallow ditch and stop there in surprise.
Just have multiple children. Spares for when this kills one. Or two.
Which is tested every time a truck is pulled over. They weigh axles separately. This isn't black magic voodoo. It works very well to reduce the pressure of the tire on the asphalt. It does nothing to alter the weight of the vehicle on the bridge.
Not at all.
Yes. They have rather strong hydraulic cylinder that can push down quite hard.
Yes, all airbags are equal and fed off same pressure supply.
Two points. The truck has an air supply that keeps them filled. And if there is a big leak it is big problem because th brakes are air actuated. So, when the air is gone, the brakes lock
