So what do you call a person who read the instructions, knew about the risk, and still uses tap water?  Asking for a friend.  You can call my friend a idiot......

Interesting.  I didn't know they used it as part is the engine warm up strategy.  Makes sense though, especially with dpf.  We are starting to have issues with dpf with John Deere tractor that idle for long periods of time.

Other than making upshifting a bit tricky, a Jake doesn’t hurt anything if the driver is good. Every truck manual I’ve ever seen says not to run it while shifting up, since it can be rough on the driveling if it engages unexpectedly. Though it can be done, it just takes a different rhythm to shift. Generally not

Auto dimming mirrors are a thing, and they are fantastic.

Hate to break it to you but, he doesn't notice.

Jake brake comparison doesn’t really apply.

These kind of regulations are slowly coming down the pipe. They are generally nightmares for smaller farmers who don’t have knowledge or ability or money to invest in the logistics equipment required for site of origin labeling. So we see lots of people getting out of that kind of product leaving only the large

Poop near food is generally bad lol. And I should add that the law requirig bathrooms in fields may vary in enforcement. I know in CA and NC it is fairly well enforced, thankfully.

Farm workers are provided toilets by law. Yes, they are portable units, because there is rarely plumbing in the middle of a field. But they are legally required to be there, and it is a rule that is rarely, though not never, broken. In my state, a violation is an immediate, non appealable $5,000 fine.

Realistically,a small supplier could people sick, but it would never show up as a recall because the outbreak would be so small.

The biggest question I have is, are catch cans actually a worthwhile investment in a turbo, DI engine.  I have an Ecoboost f150 and it is debated endlessly on forums.  I still don't have one, and likely won't.

Exactly.

We have used cast iron on 3 different ceramic tops now. It hurts nothing unless you are prone to dropping them. Then you probably shouldn’t.

Not saying this applies to you in particular, but I find it amusing that the comments here skew towards banning tobacco and legalizing marijuana.

Oh man, but back when I smoked, a good smoke after sex was fantastic.

In the era of legalizing weed, banning cigarettes makes zero sense.

I did these kinds of analyses in grad school. Even used some of Dr Reich’s software as well as others. I’m a few years out of the field, but it should be noted that in general the error bars are very large. Estimating dates of migration for these samples was probably accurate to within 1,000-2,000 years.

I wish I could find a fresh paw paw. We have a bush we planted about 5 years ago at my parents. Just started blooming last year but they keep dropping.

I didn’t care for it. Like pineapples and bananas mixed with gasoline. That aromatic aftertaste didn’t leave my mouth for hours.

So what happens when some poor schmuck puts fix a flat slime in it?
