We have dozens of tractors. We write oil capacity under the hood in red marker. When filling with an air pressure oil metering system you just pump until is says the right number of quarts we’re dispensed. Crank to fill the filter. Do a cursory dipstick check and drive out. Its never been wrong but I’m paranoid

All true. Now consider City traffic where a heavy truck can keep up with the cars but can’t stop nearly as quickly. With current trucks, there is generally a larger gap between cars and trucks which is good for stopping and reaction time. Shorten that gap and beware. Smart truck drivers will simply accelerate

Tomato  are fruits :)

Fun fact that is false. Find a single legitimate news source reporting that.

Smoke from fire is also an IARC 2a carcinogen. So go the easy safer route that won’t burn down the neighborhood.

So you walk to the farm and your time is worthless?

Is there another way?

Lol. I should really learn if Android keyboard with no additional languages has accent characters. Because yes, Peruvian sex is as dangerous (or safe) as glyphosate.

Glyphosate is a IARC group 2a carcinogen. I move we ban all of them. We should start with such dangerous IARC group 2a carcinogens like red meat, hot drinks, or perhaps redundantly Peruvian mate. Yes, it is in the same category as those things. Don’t take my word for it. Look it up.

Become a parent. Done.

Yes most large trucks in the u.s. are not synchronized. Not sure why really. Easy once you learn it.... But it takes some time

We have a dump truck with a 6 speed. Honestly it drives like a mix between a 10 speed and a regular synchronized transmission. It floats gears just like any 10 speed. But downshifting is much easier. But that could be due to a wider speed range per gear making rev matching easier too. I don’t actually know if it

If you can’t find it, grind it

Knowing how to drive a standard manual transmission doesn’t translate well to non-synchronized tractors. I’m learning now a few times a month for farm use. Going up in gears while floating them is easy after some practice. Downshifting is sketchy. At best.

But they are so cold! It’s torture!

The people writing bills are not really experts. They are politicians. Some bills are carefully crafted with attention to detail. Others are cobbled together and riddled with unintentional loopholes. Many courts rule that legislative intent matters so if there is testimony and bill discussions in legislative

As long as you keep the oil topped up, it will last forever I think. The Saturn TAAT automatics were crap. But the manuals were bulletproof for the most part unless you were prone to burnouts.

Holy hell. We have the same truck and drive it weekly this time if year. Was used as a grain hauler for decades and now is on water truck duty. Never goes anywhere unloaded.

We have a 1972 c50 truck that is still driven several times a week. Only 96000 miles.

Yea I’m trying to decide what is more scary. No brakes or asymetric braking at highway speeds.
