It most certainly is not a “non-story”. She set up a private email server that was used to send and receive classified information in order to get around public information rules set in place to prevent corruption. If she were a civilian employee, she would have been fired. If she were a uniformed service member,

Fucking nothing happened. People have argued about stupid shit since forever. Literally nothing has changed besides the mediums with which people can argue about stupid shit

Are we best friends?

I like replay but I think you need four changes:

I love a good oatmeal raisin. I think the issue is when you think you’re about to eat a chocolate chip and bite into an oatmeal raisin due to cookie-blindness. It’s a bad feeling.

I only recently found out people hated oatmeal raisin cookies. Fuck those people.

Probably the worst use of this meme I’ve ever seen in my life

Corporations are getting greedier and greedier

Genuinely curious as to why this site is picking on this. So what?

Pretty rude giving us these pictures then taking them away.

I’ll be damned.

I feel your pain and I certainly don’t blame you for trying to maximize your deal but I think that you are being a little disingenuous. You are going to be trading in your car NOW for what it was supposed to be worth over a year ago. Even without the scandal, your car wouldn’t have been worth $27k today.

“that you went and looked up old posts of mine.”

“Would you consider losing $4500 in two months a good deal?”

So is your car a ‘15 Golf SEL? Or was the $31k sitcker price you quoted also a wildly inaccurate “off the cuff” number? If it was an SEL, I am really having a hard time buying the fact that your buyback is $27k unless you put an insane amount of miles on it.

Making money on a car you bought new and proceeded to use before reselling is a bit of an anomaly and will never, ever happen to you unless you buy a future collectible new and hang onto it until it appreciates. In fact I don’t believe you bought a NEW wrangler and sold it for more than you paid for it unless you made

And at his other numbers, he is actually making about $4k (and getting the free use of a car for more than a year), because he bought the car for $26k and the buyback for that car is more than likely over $30k.

Well, I was initially going to give you the benefit of a doubt, but checking your comment history to see what kind of car you have, it seems like your story isn’t entirely consistent. For example, this comment, where you state:

The answer to the majority of these complaints could have simply been: “Sorry, Volkswagen is not responsible for poor financial decisions and an inability to understand/accept basic principles of economics”.
