Seriously? I mean c’mon down off the high horse. There are a handful of bone stock SUVs on the market that are perfectly capable of overlanding as is. The LR4 happens to be one of them.

You don’t need a built rig to leave the beaten path and do some camping... er, I mean overlanding.

Land Rover

The beach doesn’t require significant offroad ability. Any LR4 will easily manage, provided the driver isn’t a dolt. I’ve seen Mercedes GLE and GLS, Audi Q7s, etc.
