@The Messenger: I don't know! I've been out of state for about 6 years and I've tried to find it here or make it at home, and when I search on the internet all I find is frustrated people who used to live in the south and want some of that cheese.

@Mr_Academic: I haven't actually read the fic myself, but several people have told me about it. I've sent out some emails and with luck I'll have a link for you soon. :)

@TyLiPink: Georgia has sunshine. When people in NY are trudging through fetid slush, people in Atlanta are unpacking their bathing suits and attending flower festivals.

@weirdette: I have a friend (from Atlanta) who went to SCAD and she hated Savannah.

Oooh! I had heard that they were endangered. Maybe I'll have to do a day trip to Chicago. :-D

@Damob: Naomi Novik, of the Temeraire books, was well known for writing Patrick O'Brian (Master and Commander) fanfic before she became a published author, and she is amazing.

@Anekanta - Re-Socialized Killbot: Yeah, I remember reading about the precession thing almost a decade ago, and learning that the signs were off by about a month.

I wish I had what it takes to be a pharmacist myself. We need more pro-choice pharmacists.

@Stytch: They're all over Minneapolis. I mean... all over. It doesn't really ruin my day or anything, because I think they're ridiculous, but it makes me angry. They seem to have more of them in poorer areas.

@AnnieGetYourFun: I've heard the same phrase used to silence people who are complaining about sexism and racism.

@nobodyr: Yes, but what if those women whose tears didn't repel men sexually ended up severely injured? Thus, those men may not have passed on their genes.

@paddlepickle: That makes sense to me. I've always had really close relationships with my friends. In high school I used to "joke" with one of my friends that if we were unmarried by a certain age we'd move in together and be crazy aunts, except we talked it over one night and decided that it wasn't a joke.

@vernisee: but what if you're gay or lesbian? Don't dip the company ...ink in your ink?

@samarkand: Do you know what's up with cats who hang out in litterboxes? I've encountered two now. It's kind of weird. I thought both cats were pretty normal (social, outgoing, cat-like) except for that habit.

@InternetMagpie: I'm sure they did. The dog was very well trained and looked very healthy and happy. I can only imagine that its owner is top-notch and responsible.

@LaFabuliste: I have always gotten referrals to specialists by a GP, so what you really need to do is find an awesome general practitioner and take it from there. Find somebody you can trust, get the check up, and give them your medical history and a list of referrals that you would like.

I met the cutest dog today tied up outside of a coffee shop. When I walked out, the dog came up to me and wagged its tail. When I said "hello" and put out my hand, the dog went and got its ball and tossed it to me. I spent the next 15 - 20 minutes playing short-range fetch with this dog, who was the most gentle and

@BrookeD: That is the cutest little... rabbit (?) ever.
