@RaskolnikovFeltSick: mmm, sweet tea. :) It's true that everybody I know from back home drinks a lot of tea.
"Come in alpha team. This is shadow team beta. I am in position. Do you copy?" kkszzt "Roger that."
As somebody originally from Atlanta, I'm proud that the meat/veggies splotch is also a no-soda splotch in northern Georgia, although it is kind of ironic considering that Atlanta is the home of Coca-Cola.
@AvalonBright: Oh man, I wish you heard Patrick Rothfuss more often. He needs more recognition. At least the treatment of women in The Name of the Wind was interesting. There aren't too many female characters, but sexism is taken seriously. There seems to be a subtle feminist perspective at times.
@Elaken: I think it will help you a lot to maintain a network of platonic friends. Use them to meet your emotional needs. I know it can be hard after high school/college to keep that network going, but I think a solid group of friends is the best relationship tool a person can have.
@lavenderstain: hah, yeah, I feel the same way. I got secure, but that's just cuz my boyfriend is so awesome. Of course I can trust/depend on him. I don't know if my answers would have been so healthy if I were in a different relationship.
@Mishegoss: haha! I know, I (an american) read that description and my response was "I wish."
My high school US history teacher had bought her own set of textbooks intended for college students, because the official books were so bad.
@mledward: Slim Fast gave me food poisoning.
@Bettiespork: I would totally put on a dress if that meant I would get cartoons instead of "AMC insider" and more commercials.
@daisyhalfwit: I really hope it's a low estimate.
Ehh. I wouldn't want to leave my iPad next to the toilet, which is where magazines belong.
@moonkitten: bahahaha. You made me spit out my coffee. I had no idea they did that. That is incredibly brainless.
@Ab of Dab: I'm not really a fan of Asimov, but if you want a good sci-fi written by a woman, check out C.J. Cherryh. I like her Chanur saga books because the aliens in that universe are truly alien (there is a species that communicates in matrices).
@Hotpants McGee: for what it's worth, I've known quite a few female Erins. Most notably there was an Erin in my high school who was one of the queen-bee popular girls (but nice). I definitely don't think of it as a weird name.
I'm amused by the thought of wearing a dress like that to a movie theater.
@Solomon Grundy: Your opinion has been noted, but I think I'll be okay.
@PintoBeans: You just have me a horrid flashback to all those times I had to pack up my dorm room (in the midst of finals) at the end of the semester.
@Na zdrowie: aww. That is really endearing. I should try that actually.
