Sabre_Justice: Okay, no more long name.

@jedbeetle: That actually sounds original in this day and age.

@Commcd: Good point, but for most people it just comes across as 'that game where you shoot all the black people'.

@BVBFanatic: Wrong place? Ignore the troglodytes, nobody picks on 40k fans and survives.

@Adrianis: The interviews consist of 'we can't talk about that yet', throwing around meaningless buzzwords like 'important strategic decisions' and 'suspense' with no real examples, and making claims like 'you're going to care about these guys' and 'the fans will be pleased' with absolutely no evidence to back them

@Adrianis: So instead of a X-COM clone, we should be happy with a Bioshock clone?

...is that a Super Metroid style menu where we can turn upgrades on and off?

@Adrianis: Yeah, right. Top-down is 'outdated'? Better tell all those Starcraft and Diablo fans to stop playing those lame old games, every game should be like Doom, now that's innovation!

@Thorax: Because if they did this to a game we cared about, you'd be saying exactly the same things.

@Thorax: No, because it looks like a generic shooter that my computer probably can't run anyway.

I'm not going to bother with the courtesies.

@gandhios: It's not exactly important unless you're studying century-old media or something. Just a neat tidbit.

@SammiiDoogles: Given all the American jingoism, the name is meaningful: Columbia used to be a nickname of sorts for the United States, or the personification thereof. It completely fell outta use at some point, but at the time the game's set in it was well used.

@crizzyeyes: Are you kidding? I'm pretty sure Orks have more fans than Space Marines ever did. I play SM and I like Orks.

@curly haired boy: If you're already addicted to TVtropes, they have a very comprehensive article.

It takes 40k to show that manly games aren't made entirely of grey and brown.

Ah, Granny's Garden. I remember a remake that came out ages later that I could actually beat.

@toks1c: No, Australia's ratings board is NOT that strict, as I've told a million people. R18 games just get rated MA15 with no hassle 90% of the time, it's the reason the system is broken.
