@juliansr001: I had a similar problem...it was like I had 2 accounts...one for giz,jalop, etc, and one for gawker general or something. My image is back now on this account so...I have no clue what is going on.

I'm hoping the price stays the same or only goes up very slightly. I'm tempted to buy my first Apple product outside of an iPod, but $599 is my upper threshold. Once you get into the $700-$1000 range..not gonna happen.

One thing I've learned from reading stories about military personnel: once you sign on the dotted line, your ass is theirs for life. The same rules and laws that govern regular citizens are out the window.

@Tom Neish: I dislike that they "fired on his pit bull". Seriously...it pisses me off that cops can kill dogs that they feel threatened by. Laws need to be changed. A pitbull is dangerous, but would a group of large armed men be killed by one? No...maybe bitten, but even then, they don't have mace, tasers, etc? Yet…

@peasant slayer likes how you: racism charges? what the heck are you talking about? we have laws against "hate crimes", where you have to commit crime against an actual person, and the reasoning has to be a dislike of their sexual preferences, race, etc...but merely dressing up like another race isn't a hate crime.

@andreisnotagiant: Dunno what you are talking about. Wife has one. Handles good for a rather large sedan, gets about 32 mpg, and has plenty of power. 60K miles and no issues.

I'm excited...and not. It seems like every other day we hear about an invention that makes power from water, or solar cells that are 98% more efficient, etc...but for whatever reason, it's always 5-10 years before the tech actually appears.
