This. I have a never ending debate with the wife about my car. RWD V8 with snows. Sure it’s not a Subaru with snows, but still better off than the vast majority of people with AWD on all-seasons.

It’s moreso making a car do something it’s not designed to, specifically going against the recomendations of the manufacturer. Loading the front of the trailer with tools adds notable tounge weight. Realistically, when loading a trailer that can only take minimal load, anything metal should be in your car. I

And you wonder why your shit breaks/doesn’t work? You make cars do things they are supposed to do, while buying them for stolen car prices.

My current M5. Bled money from day 2. Thankfully I’m basically out of things that can go wrong as I’ve replaced almost everything in the engine already...

In my head it’s screaming like a charging viking.

What are you talking about? My house is up almost 60% in four years! I think it’s plenty fine. It’s not a bubble at all...

Unless we’re counting drowning in refugees.

Enough climate change to impact global ocean levels will impact weather. We are arid high plains - 17" of water per year. If we don’t get snow in the mountains, we’re pretty much screwed.

Colorado here. Y’all are on your own. God speed.

This. My parent’s had a family in a rental about 10 years ago who also happened to be their mechanic. He and his wife both drove new Land Rover LR2s (or LR3, I can’t remember). They were kitted out in the nicest Louis Vitton bags and designer clothes. We couldn’t figure out for the life of us how they could afford it

I just purchased a 2013 Infiniti JX35 over the weekend. We looked at all of the comperable available options (MDX, Q7, Highlander, Pathfinder, etc.). The luxury all used, mass-market all new.

Somehow mine has kept some value. I’m only down 30% from my purchase and immediate repairs price...

“On average” is the key phrase. 58% of Furtune 500 CEOs are over 6' (vs. 14.5% of population). Those 290 individuals are going to do a lot to drag that average number up.

Living in SF I sadly have too many. Two best/worst:

Freddy - You consitently buy the cheapest, most clapped out POS used BMWs you can find - specifically their high-end performance cars that are now blow-out cheap. That market has an audience in which you will find people willing to drive them hard and skip on maintenance -because it’s expensive. You also don’t tend to

Given the speed and erratic* nature of the driving, could this possibly be programmed to sme extent? Check out the glide over the camera in the right lane. That’s some pretty damn spectacular timing given the speed and loads the guy on the camera is taking.

Chubber. I’ll be back in 2 minutes.

QOTD right there folks. Slow burn on that one.

Don’t forget Fontuckey. Even closer to LA than those hell holes.

Event Horizon. Good luck with that.
