Dogs, man. I’m always outed by an overly-friendly dog. YES, DOG, I AM BLEEDING FROM MY VAGINA. THANK YOU FOR ALERTING EVERYONE BY FORCIBLY PLACING YOUR NOSE THERE.

Parents need to get a clue and realize that helicopter behavior doesn’t serve their children.

Get ahold of whatever health history info already submitted and make a copy. Then, outside an appointment, figure out a way to ask your parents about it, basing your request in the fact that you literally need to know.

I was appalled and amazed. And oh, so pissed. So I fisted my paying $20 into my palm, coughed on it, and gave it to him.

Oh, OK, so the poster above was not joking: THAT’S REALLY HIM.

As someone who has been hit on while feverish, sweaty, snotty and wearing fetid pajamas by the “gentleman” selling me tissues, NyQuil, DayQuil, OJ and chicken soup, indeed, I laughed my ass off at this line.

The sloth’s hands are wrong. No thumb.

It’s utterly irrational to attempt to punish millions of other women for the choice your grandparents were not in a position to enforce, and your mother did not actually make. Get over yourself.

McDonald’s expert readily admitted they did not need to keep the coffee between 180-190º. Obviously you agree, posting a range of temperatures 10 to 40º lower than what McDonald’s insists (still!) its restaurants do. McDonald’s expert also admitted McDonald’s was aware of the risk of injury.

Don’t move the goalposts. Ignorance isn’t the issue; highlighting one’s ignorance by insulting an innocent victim using an unnecessary comparison is what makes this person an asshole. Being a dick about being corrected just added fuel to the fire.

If all you have are CNN’s bullet points, you know you’re not fully informed. When I make incorrect offhand comments, and someone corrects me, I will look up whatever it is they are telling me and either confirm they are correct, correct both our inaccuracies, or prove I’m right. Asshole = doesn’t back down when wrong.

Point 2: Info easily accessible
Point 3: Reference was unnecessary to express overall sentiment

After I read the full details of WTF happened to her, there was no way in hell anyone in my hearing was going to say she didn’t deserve every single fucking rusty-ass dime she got out of McDonald’s, let alone that it was her fault. It’s a fact-heavy case, but McDonald’s fucking clearly knew they were injuring people

How? Because s/he had no details. It’s pretty clear to know when you are ignorant of a subject: You don’t know any details. In which case, you’re best off not referencing it.

Ignorantly insulting a severely injured person (when correct info is easily available and the reference unnecessary) ≠ asshole in your book? Mkay.

I’ve had SO MANY FIGHTS about this lady with people who have no idea what the full extent of her injuries were. Finally, I just condensed my talking points to: “3rd degree burns to her genitals.” People generally cave after hearing that.

Don’t feel bad. Netflix has Years 13-15 of SVU... And I’m watching them. While ID’ing what “from the headline” case these old episodes are referencing. It’s nice!

As a high school senior, I began dating a college freshman (first boyfriend! COLLEGE MAN) and parked on campus to “hang out”. (He was Catholic; we really did just hang out.) Anyway, I racked up all these parking tickets, but didn’t pay them, or pay the tow warnings any mind.

White shooter enters a PP, shoots 11, kills 3(?), literally states his motive; “we don’t know what he wants!” BLM has a bulleted list of policy objectives, “their motive is to kill cops and destabilize communities”. Ohhhhhh kayyyyyyy.

So, because they’re not reported, mass shootings undertaken by white people aren’t happening?
